An earthquake occurred in Yamanashi in late June. Fortunately, there was no damage to our students, staff, or school facilities. However, disasters can happen at any time and in unexpected ways. Once again this year, our students entrusted their wishes to the Tanabata strips. Many of the messages expressed hopes for the happiness of their families back home, reminding us of the loved ones who worry about their children living far away in Japan. We sincerely hope that the lives of Culture and Language Academy of Yamanashi students in Japan will be full of growth and fulfillment, and we pray for a peaceful world for all.

We went to Tokyo again this year. Culture and Language Academy of Yamanashi is conducting a Tokyo study trip for second-year students. Wearing traditional Japanese yukata, they visited the popular sightseeing spots of Asakusa and Senso-ji Temple. In the afternoon, we took a water bus to Odaiba Seaside Park, which connects to the sea. Allowing us to see Tokyo from various perspectives. This study trip not only helped they understand Japan, but also made for enjoyable memories

On March 13, 2026, the Graduation Ceremony for students of the 2-year and 1.5-year Advanced Japanese Language Course took place. This was the second graduation ceremony in the history of our young school, and we proudly congratulate all of our graduates. Today started a little differently than usual. Instead of our regular teachers, the morning meeting was attended by witches, wizards, a talking pumpkin, and the Lorax! The Culture and Language Academy of Yamanashi's October 2025 Entrance Ceremony was held at one of the hotels in Yamanashi Prefecture. During the ceremony, our school director, Shimura-sensei, and our guests gave their speeches. This year, we once again celebrated Dashain together at the girls’ dormitory. Our dormitory leader, Rajani-san, gave a short speech, greeting everyone and expressing her gratitude to the teachers and friends for their kindness and care.
