The Culture and Language Academy of Yamanashi's October 2025 Entrance Ceremony was held at one of the hotels in Yamanashi Prefecture.

During the ceremony, our school director, Shimura-sensei, and Mr. Masaharu Nakagawa gave their speeches.

This year’s representative of the new students, Pempero-san, gave a speech to his fellow classmates and encouraged everyone to do their best and move toward success together.

入学式おめでとうございます!

Dear new students, congratulations on your entrance ceremony!

Starting a new life in another country can feel a little scary, but don’t worry — we’re here to help, support, and of course, teach you the Japanese language.

We also held a Placement Test to determine each student’s Japanese level and divide them into appropriate classes.

An Orientation session was conducted as well, where we explained the school rules and shared some basic information about daily life in Japan.

Japan has many customs and rules that differ from those in our students’ home countries — for example, left-hand traffic and strict garbage separation.

We hope our short lecture was helpful and gave our dear students a smoother start to their new life in Japan!

We are truly grateful that you chose us, Culture and Language Academy of Yamanashi.

Please enjoy your life in Japan, make many friends, and create wonderful memories!
