Today our intensive Japanese language group visited the local Yamanashi Prefectural Museum of Art and Yamanashi Prefectural Museum of Literature. We looked at paintings by Jean-François Millet, Corot, Rousseau, other Barbizon School artists, and major European landscape artists.
After we visited the permanent exhibition a collection of prominent writers in Japanese history including Ichiyo Higuchi, Ryunosuke Akutagawa, Dakotsu Iida and more. And temporary exhibition of Fushigi Dagashiya Zenitendō a series of children's novels written by Reiko Hiroshima and illustrated by jyajya.
It was a fun and enjoyable experience!
