volunteer activities

Summer vacation began on July 27. Although many of our students have been busy with their studies and part-time jobs, those who were interested in volunteering took part in a neighborhood clean-up activity around our school.

Takeda Street, where the Culture and Language Academy of Yamanashi is located, is a road our students use every day. Together, we picked up litter along Takeda Street, removed weeds from the roads intersecting with it, and cleaned a nearby garbage collection area.

Many students were impressed by how little litter there is in Japan. During the weeding activity, some also smiled and said, "This brings back memories," as the work reminded them of life in their home countries.

Thanks to the continued support of our local community, our students are able to enjoy a safe and comfortable school life. We will continue to take part in activities that express our gratitude to the community while also contributing in meaningful ways to our local area.
