An earthquake occurred in Yamanashi in late June. Fortunately, there was no damage to our students, staff, or school facilities. However, disasters can happen at any time and in unexpected ways.
To ensure that everyone can take safe and appropriate action during an emergency, we conducted an evacuation drill. Students followed the essential “O–Ka–Shi–Mo” rules—Do not push, do not run, do not talk, and do not go back—and evacuated smoothly to the designated site, the University of Yamanashi East Ground.
We sincerely appreciate the University of Yamanashi for allowing us to use their evacuation routes and grounds. Thank you very much for your cooperation.
