すごいお祭りですよ - "It’s an amazing festival!"

Held in Suwa, Nagano, once every six years, this festival is famous for its log-riding event, where people ride massive logs down steep slopes. It is considered one of Japan’s most thrilling and dangerous festivals. You can find out more here.

Nodame Cantabile - A drama about classical music and the relationship between a talented pianist and a strict conductor.

Hana Yori Dango - A romance drama based on the famous manga about a poor girl at an elite school.

Favorite and famous place in Japan 日本で大好きな有名な所

京都

Kyoto - A historic city famous for its temples, shrines, and traditional culture.

The city served as Japan's capital and the emperor's residence from 794 until 1868. It is one of the country's ten largest cities with 1.5 million inhabitants and a modern face.

Over the centuries, Kyoto was destroyed by many wars and fires, but due to its exceptional historic value, the city was dropped from the list of target cities for the atomic bomb and escaped destruction during World War II. Countless temples, shrines and other historically priceless structures survive in the city today.

日本語をたくさん聞く!話す!(シャドウィングなど)
